Children's Hospital Project

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to enquire about the Children's Hospital Programme project, which I read about on the www.green.volunteering.org website.

I am very interested in this project and I would be grateful if you could give me more information. First of all, I would like to know when the programme is going to start and finish. Secondly, please could you tell me where the hospital's location is? 

Finally, I would also like to know more about the work. What kind of things are volunteers going to do? I'm very friendly, talkative and generous. Are these values going to be useful?

This project is about volunteers who will  spend time with ill children and their families when they visit.

This is open for everybody. You can read to them, play games with them, and also spend time with their families, who also need comfort and support.

This project is for volunteers and also for inters who want to get the “feel” of a medical facility.

Do you love childrens?  Come on!

REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES

Real Women Have Curves is a comedy and real-life drama film. It was directed by Patricia Cardoso and filmed in the year 2002 in LA.

The main character is a Mexican teenager named Ana García, who tries to pursue her dream which is to continue her studies. But her mother, doesn't want her to go to college and prefers her to stay with the family.

Ana tries to go to the University, but her problems forbid her to continue to study.

One day, her teacher visited the family to talk about the future of Ana telling them that she could get a one year scholarship in one of the greatest universities in America thanks to her intelligence. Although knowing the mother’s selfishness, Ana still decides to hand-in all the requirements to get it and with a desire for her mother to change her mind.

To conclude, it’s a meaningful and significant movie which tries to show you to never give up no matter what happens and what others say to you. JOHN Q

''John Q'' it's a real-drama life.

This movie is about John, the main character, and his family. One day, his son had a baseball game and had a heart attack. They went to the hospital and the doctors said that he had a heart desease so he needed a heart transplant. But they were not going to perform the operation if they didn't have enough money therefore John started to work hard that he sold their things. That was enough so he went to despair and kidnaps the hospital without intention to hurt so his son can be operated.

At the end, he got what he wanted but he had to serve a sentence for doing what he did.

To conclude, I liked the movie and it made me cry because it shows what a father can do for his children. Although what he did isn’t right, I’m agree because the operation of healthcare there shouldn’t be like that.

 

PRESENTATION

I'm Kelly Raniel Pring and I'm seventeen years old.
I love to sing, dance and in my free time I like getting together with my friends.

I was born in Barcelona but my parents are from Philippines. I'm only child but I have step-sisters from my father's side and I'm going to have another sister or brother from my mother's side.
I live with my mother and step-father but sometimes I go to my father's house.

I'm religious and I love to worship God because he's the only one who can truly help and listen me everytime I need it or when I have problems.
